1. Who we are

AstroSetu is a service operated by APAS TECH POINT PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U78300KA2024PTC196362), a private limited company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at VVN Arcade, Shop No. 2, Basement, No. 12 & 13, K.No. 112/3/49/2B, Shanti Layout Main Road, R M Nagar, Ramamurthy Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560016, India.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: phone number, name, email, profile photo.
• Astrology profile: date, time and place of birth, gender, language, marital status, occupation — provided by you to generate horoscopes and consultations.
• Transactional information: orders, bookings, shipping address, payment status. We do not store full card details on our servers.
• Technical information: IP address, device, browser, cookies and usage logs.
• Communications: messages you send to support or astrologers.

3. How we use information

• Provide horoscopes, kundli, matchmaking, tarot, vastu and consultation services.
• Process orders for products and bookings with astrologers.
• Authenticate you via OTP and secure your account.
• Send service-related notifications and respond to support requests.
• Comply with Indian legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
• Improve our platform, prevent fraud and abuse.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The legal bases are your consent, performance of the contract between you and us, and our legitimate business and legal obligations.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information only with: (a) astrologers you book with, strictly for delivering the consultation; (b) payment gateways and logistics partners to process your order; (c) cloud and infrastructure providers under confidentiality; and (d) government or law-enforcement authorities where required by law.

6. Data retention

We retain account and transactional records for as long as your account is active and thereafter for the period required by Indian tax and corporate law (typically 8 years). You may request deletion of your account at any time by writing to support@astrosetu.online.

7. Security

Data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled cloud infrastructure. Sensitive operations are performed through server-side functions using least-privilege credentials. While no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, we follow reasonable security practices under Rule 8 of the SPDI Rules, 2011.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your profile from the user dashboard. You may also withdraw consent, object to processing, or request a copy of your data by emailing support@astrosetu.online.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for session management, preferences and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may not work as a result.

10. Children

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@astrosetu.online.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the website or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
